Testimonials

“In 2003 Judy Hensley was my physical therapist for a total hip replacement. She helped me recover quickly and regain my strength and range of motion. Over the past 15 years, I have had to have two other joint replacements and I definitely chose Judy as my doctor for physical therapy each time.

Judy is an excellent communicator, she is caring and gives me unique exercises to fit my situation each week so that I make continuous progress throughout my recovery period. Judy has knowledge and experience that makes her more qualified and effective than other physical therapists I have tried. Her skill set has enabled me to recover quicker and feel stronger.

I would absolutely recommend Judy Hensley to anyone who has physical challenges to overcome.”

“Judy has kept me on my feet and functional since I had a neck and shoulder injury when I was 53 years old. My doctor had highly recommended Judy, what great luck for me! She was able to treat that injury and also regain some mobility that I’d lost when I had a frozen shoulder at 50. This was miraculous – I’d been compensating for the shoulder and was resigned to having pain, thinking I was getting older and couldn’t expect to be pain free.

I’m 62 now, and while I’ve had more injuries and advanced arthritis in my shoulder, Judy keeps me pain free and as active as I want to be! I live a very physical life, living and working farmland and painting extra large paintings – some as wide as 25 feet. Additionally, I’m accident prone.

I can’t imagine I would still be able to be doing what I love and being so active at this stage of my life, without Judy. I took a fall 6 years ago and suffered neck injuries and a concussion, which Judy immediately helped to relieve and speed up the recovery.

A few years ago I had a small fracture on my tibial plateau that was not diagnosed. She skillfully evaluated it and sent me to get it properly diagnosed and then treated it until I was again pain free.

Reoccurring pain in my right shoulder began to impede my working life. I went to a specialist who said I had advanced arthritis and after an MRI recommended a shoulder replacement. Judy went to work getting the shoulder as much mobility as possible. I am now almost pain free with no surgery. On a recheck with the surgeon, he said I would no longer need a shoulder replacement anytime soon and continue to check back on a yearly basis. Judy helped me avoid surgery, continue to paint large paintings requiring lifting and reaching and have little or no pain!

Twice I’ve had rib injuries that were very painful, which Judy was able to treat in one to three visits, back to complete comfort. I know many people who have had rib injuries who suffer for weeks and months.

Judy is extremely competent, keeps herself on top of the game with continued education and is so kind. I am deeply grateful for her. I tell her frequently that she has given me my life back over and over, allowing me to do the work that I love and offering me the opportunity as I age to live without chronic pain.”

“Judy has been my PT for about 20 years She has such a vast knowledge of the human body. Many times she can put her hands exactly on the place that is causing my pain. Many times the place causing the pain is not where I think it is She is also very good with soft tissue massage, especially after you have already gone through therapy after surgery and been released, yet you still hurt.

I can’t give Judy enough praise for her knowledge, her caring and her exceptional talent.”

“I’ve seen many different physical therapists over the years, but Judy was the only one who actually delved into my history far enough to realize some of my current issues are related to an old injury. If you need a physical therapist, you will not find one with more knowledge, experience and compassion than Judy. I’m so thankful to have found her!”
